The Yorkshire County Cricket Club is arguably the most successful
cricket club in the world, boasting an unrivalled 31 County
Championship wins over the years, as well as five additional major
trophies.
Some of the most famous cricketers of all time have played for the club, including Sir Len Hutton, Fred Trueman, Brian Close, Geoffrey Boycott, Michael Vaughan and Darren Gough.
Based at the iconic Headingley Carnegie Stadium in Leeds, The Yorkshire County Cricket Club is looking forward to an exciting future both on and off the pitch, thanks to innovative collaborations with Leeds Metropolitan University.
Major matches in 2010
The Friends Provident twenty20 returns to the Yorkshire County Cricket Club this summer with eight home matches taking place in June and July - the highlight will be the much anticipated Yorkshire Carnegie v Lancashire Lightning match on Thursday 17th June. Adult tickets are £20.00 in advance/£15.00 on the day but the first 12,000 tickets are available for just £12.00 each.
Headingley Carnegie Cricket Ground will also play host to the 2nd MCC Pakistan v Australia Test Match (Wed 21st - Sun 25th July) and 2nd Natwest England v Pakistan One Day International (Sunday 12th September) -for more details on any of the above matches or to book your tickets please call the Ticket Office on 0871 971 1222 or visit www.yorkshireccc.com.
