The winemaker who followed a dream

7th Nov 2011
An award-winning winemaker, who along with his Yorkshire born wife gave up a hectic UK lifestyle to own a vineyard in France, will be sharing his experiences at an event at Brasserie Blanc in Leeds later this month.

James and Catherine Kinglake bought the historic Domaine Begude vineyard in the high foothills of the Pyrenees eight years ago. They have gone on to produce a range of cool climate wines that have received accolades the world over. Find out more about their organic philosophy, the highs and lows of following a dream and, of course, try of some of their excellent wines.

The Brasserie Blanc Domaine Begude evening is on Thursday, November 24 and includes a three course dinner specially created to compliment Domaine Begude's Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir and Rose wines.

Tickets are £45 per head which includes a glass of wine with each course. To book call Brasserie Blanc on 0113 220 6060.
