Girl's Night at City Varieties
The popular comedy Girls’ Night comes to Leeds this month with an all new UK cast featuring Eastenders’ Gillian Taylforth and her sister Kim Taylforth.
The show follows lifelong friends as they enjoy a wild night out at a Karaoke club. They remember the past; laugh, cry and belt out fabulous anthems including I Will Survive, It’s Raining Men and Dancing Queen.
The Taylforth sisters will be joined by Rebecca Wheatley (receptionist ‘Amy’ in Casualty), and writer Louise Roche thinks the cast is the perfect fit for her target audience; ‘women of all ages looking for a good time’.
“Gillian, Kim and Rebecca are actresses we’ve all grown up relating to on television,” says Louise. “I love to see them all live on stage - it’s a riot!”
“If you’re looking for a fantastic night out then come along and watch Girls Night,” says Gillian. “It’s a great, fun evening of singing, dancing and laughter with the girls that will have you joining in right from the start.”
Girls’ Night is at City Varieties Music Hall from Monday 25th to Saturday 30th June. Tickets are priced from £15 to £22.50 with group discounts available.
