Union 105 provides support to people who want to develop arts practices, particularly but not exclusively in the visual arts. 

We encourage the development of new practices and help people sustain and take forward existing practice – including helping people take their first steps. We do this through provision of new affordable studio facilities, one-to-one support, helping to formulate and structure professional development and provide a framework for exchange, dialogue and collaboration.

Union 105 also provides an accessible project space as a focus for activity and provides opportunities to show work and engage with audiences.

We are particularly keen on building connections and engagement between artists, art and the local community and hope to be developing a substantial public art dimension to the project.

East Street Arts (ESA) has been funded through the Sharing the Success programme to deliver UNION 105.
