Tropical World
See tropical birds, butterflies, ignuanas, snakes, spiders and other insects in the rainforest at Tropical World.
A realistic atmosphere of the tropics is effectively re-created and visitors can walk among growing banana trees, citrus trees bearing fruit, pineapple and other varieties from the tropics.
There is a waterfall that sets off the whole effect along with a Butterfly House in which more than forty species of colour dappled butterflies feed off the bountiful succulent plants made available to them.
There is also a nocturnal house, a South American Rainforest and a desert house including specimens of and cacti gathered from the deserts of the world.
Step onto the beach at Tropical World and experience the humidity as you walk amongst tumbling waterfalls and alongside swirling pools of colourful fish, tropical plants and flowers.
Continue deep inland and discover a world of many different reptiles, spiders, amphibians, birds, small mammals and butterflies.
Feel the dry heat of the desert and the darkness of the nocturnal zone. Look out for piranhas and other exotic fish in the depths of the aquarium and prepare to be amazed.
