At Thwaite Mills you will find a fully restored, working watermill, in an attractive riverside setting. The centrepiece of the mill are the two huge water-wheels that drive the mechanisms.

The site explains the history of the mill from the 17th century to the 1970s, including the house where the mill manager lived, and tells the story of the Horn family who owned the mill for generations.
