The Stroom takes its name from a baboon stroom, meaning the mammal’s feeding and watering hole. The Stroom wows customers with its sophisticated menu and its warm, contemporary atmosphere. It is the place to relax and have fun. The Stroom has a reputation second to none - not only do we provide distinctive food, wines and beers, the service is impressive too.

All our rooms are designed to be bright and classy eateries decorated with a palette of creams, yellows, blues and oranges. We have retained some of the eighteenth century features of the Conservative Club building including a marble mosaic floor.
