Founded in 1923 and set in the Temple Newsam Estate, these two 18-hole courses are a real test of golf. The courses are mainly parkland, with plenty of hazards and many interesting features. The 'Lord Irwin' is regarded as the competition course with a par of 69 at 6460 yards. The 'Lady Dorothy' is equally testing, with a par of 70 at 6960 yards.
