Leeds City Council is a leader in providing good value, accessible
golf, and has five 'pay and play' courses both for the people of Leeds
and for visitors to the city. The courses are in parkland locations and
offer a challenge to all standards of player, be they dedicated golfer
or enthusiastic beginner.
There are no membership requirements to play. Access to all courses is on a 'pay and play' basis with the opportunity to book tee times. There are concessions for Juniors, OAPs and priority LeedsCard holders, and an annual season ticket is available for each course.
An independent club operates at each course, offering handicap and competition golf for its members. For visiting parties and societies arrangements can be made with each venue. Enquiries concerning membership should be addressed to the relevant club secretary.
The five courses are:
Gott's Park Golf Course
Roundhay Park Golf Course
Temple Newsam Golf Courses (two)
Middleton Park Golf Course
Please see the individual entries for each club for further information.
