Three miles from Leeds city centre is Middleton Park, one of the city's largest parks.
Middleton Park consists mainly of ancient woodland, but also has an 18-hole golf course, bowling greens, play areas, a tennis court, a basketball court and an area for inline skating.
A fishing lake, small pond and many miles of footpaths and bridleways are also situated within the park, and community events are run by the resident ranger.
