Combining a great selection of punchy cocktails, Spanish and Latin American beers, new world wines - and the odd cigar - Azucar brings something rather different to Leeds waterfront.
The drinks menu has been created by Leeds ambassador Robert “Skippy” Jupp (ex Mojo and Skippy’s). With an extensive list specialising in tequila and rum and numerous classes and tasting sessions Azucar adds a missing dimension to the Leeds drinking scene.
Combine this with its stunning location and Azucar is a hot destination for a quality drink. Think Erdinger on draught, bohemia beer, and Partida Agave Nectar Margaritas.
Local legend and author Howard Marks is a regular at Azucar. Famous for a number of books including Mr Nice, Howard has chosen Leeds as his home and lives one minute away from Azucar. He uses the bar as a base for when he’s writing or simply enjoying a mojito. In his own words, “You have to live life to write about it.” And watch out for Howard's pub quiz!
