Ready... Steady... Spots vs Stripes

2nd Sep 2010
To celebrate being the official treat provider to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Cadbury has created Spots v Stripes – the biggest, longest, most fun game ever - and it will be coming to Millennium Square Leeds on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th September, where you can challenge Hussain Bisad – the man with the biggest hand span in the UK – to a thumb wrestling match.

Spots v Stripes is a game that anybody can play, at any time, with anyone. Cadbury will be inviting the nation to divide into two teams – the Spots and the Stripes, and to participate all you need to do is join one of the teams, sign up on the website and begin playing games! Any game will count – from kiss chase to eye spy, arm wrestling to shoe golf; as long as you can score a point, you can play!

As part of the fun, Cadbury will be taking Spots v Stripes on a tour of the country, and is coming to Leeds on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th September.

A two-day city event of the most smile worthy, giggle inducing, side-splitting, silly billy games you will ever have had the pleasure of playing!  From Thumb Wrestling to Eyeball (a test of your balance and determination) to Slide Dunk (a cunning twist on basketball), there are more games than you can shake a pooh stick at…

So, if you think you can take on Hussain Bisad, come down to Millennium Square at 11am this Saturday to challenge him to a thumb wrestling match. Also, the Thumb Wrestling Champion 2010, The Thumbertaker, will be taking on challengers.

The Rules?      Pick a team (Spot or a Stripe), come down and play!

Time?      4th September 10am – 7pm
               5th September 10am – 6pm

The game playing also doesn’t stop there. The Spots v Stripes On Tour will also visit London (11-12th Sept) and Birmingham (18-19th Sept).
