Europe’s leading taiko drum group, Mugenkyo Taiko Drummers is now touring the UK. The group will arrive at Leeds Town Hall on Friday 21 October with their powerful thundering taiko rhythms, huge drums, dramatic choreography, haunting bamboo flute and playful percussion, all presented in a high energy theatrical stage show.
 
Mugenkyo Taiko Drummers has been the driving force behind the growing taiko movement in the UK since their establishment in 1994. The group have spearheaded the development of taiko as a European art form, through high profile performances, television appearances and extensive touring.
 
Over the years Mugenkyo have developed a gritty passionate style that is uniquely their own, retaining the traditional spirit of taiko yet creating a contemporary sound and a modern stage show that has captivated audiences everywhere…
