Leeds butcher creates Yorkshire's best sausages

Sizzling success came to Kippax butcher Paul Flintoft again on Sunday 20th November, when his Thick Pork Sausage were judged the Best in Competition.
This was the verdict of the Confederation of Yorkshire Butchers at their annual competition and trade fair at the Cedar Court Hotel Bradford.
The honour now takes Paul to London to represent Yorkshire in the Sausage National Championships next year.
Paul was justifiably thrilled to be honoured by his peers and carried off the Ripon Select Food Shield the third time he's won this plus diploma. Paul was also awarded Supreme Champion winning the Towers Thompson Trophy. Paul has a good pedigree in this competition winning best Thick Pork Sausage in 2006 2008 and third in 2007 and winning Best Thin Pork sausage in 2009 receiving reserve champion.
Paul founded his family run business at 12 High Street Kippax Leeds only 10 years ago and in that short time he has built up an enviable reputation for range of homemade sausages as well as imaginatively presented fresh meats and a big selection of cooked products, pickles and sauces. All backed up by friendly service and advice, which is greatly appreciated by his growing following of happy customers.
