Brasserie Blanc celebrates Yorkshire produce

28th Oct 2011
Brasserie Blanc is holding an evening to celebrate some of the Yorkshire producers who supply their restaurant in Leeds.

On 7th November, a four course menu that shouts loud and proud 'YORKSHIRE', promises to be a treat for lovers of fantastic seasonal food.

Chef Vijay Ventakesh and his team have been working closely with Swillington Organic Farm, Womersley Foods and Sykes House Farm to create a special ‘from farm to fork’ menu for the evening.  The local producers will be hosting the event and there will be plenty of opportunity to talk to them.

Jayne Castle, general manager of Brasserie Blanc said: “It has been a joy to work with so many local producers since we opened in Leeds four years ago. This special local menu pulls together all the wonderful flavours of autumn from parsnips grown in Swillington to cider brewed at Ampleforth.

The set menu will be £35 per person and tables can be booked by calling 0113 220 6060 or emailing leeds@brasserieblanc.com.
