Best of Leeds Showcased in New Publication
The magazine, which will be used to promote the city’s fantastic leisure offer, is aimed at attracting visitors with a high purchasing power and raising the profile of the city generally.
Packed full of features and reviews and
with a wealth of information on where to go and what to do whilst visiting
Leeds, 'Live it Love it' showcases the diverse cultural scene that is unique
to Leeds including arts, sports, music and heritage.
Deborah Green, chief executive of Marketing Leeds said: “Over the last few years Leeds has quietly and confidently secured its status as the jewel of the North, however *research has highlighted that perceptions of the city do not reflect the reality of the Leeds experience.
“We wanted to create a publication which challenged perceptions, embodied the unique characteristics of Leeds and reflected all that Leeds has to offer, whilst demonstrating that the city is cosmopolitan, but yet still grounded with Yorkshire values.”
The magazine which has been produced in partnership with creative communications agency As Brave As You, will be distributed nationally and internationally including in airport lounges, hotels and spas, and will form part of the city’s international marketing campaigns over the next year.
The publication has benefited from support
from Leeds Champions and other key organisations in the city and will
sit alongside other marketing publications such as ‘Essential Leeds’
to promote Leeds as a leading leisure visitor destination.
