2010 Tower Power Challenge

11th Mar 2010
The Sick Children’s Trust is organising a 'tower run' up the tallest building in Yorkshire, Bridgewater Place in Leeds. Get involved, get fit, and be part of this momentous charity event.

Be one of three hundred people running up 600 stairs in this adrenaline fuelled tower race. This will be the first of its kind outside London and aims to raise £90,000 towards the trust's target of £1.7 million for ‘The Big Move’ appeal.

The trust's Leeds ‘Home from Home’, Eckersley House, has to be relocated from St James’s Hospital to Leeds General Infirmary. If they don’t move Eckersley House hundreds of children will go through prolonged treatment without their families being close by.

The 2010 Tower Power Challenge is the perfect event for involving community groups, corporates and you, the individual, in helping us reach their target. Whether you work in an office, pump iron in the gym or just want to achieve a personal goal, they want all walks of life to get involved!
