Renbourn and Williamson to play City Varieties Music Hall

16th Apr 2012

Two musical greats come together on the City Varieties stage later this month for a feast of folk psychedelia.

John Renbourn is a founding member of folk-rock 60’s band Pentangle and an esteemed guitarist. Robin Williamson is of the psychedelic folk outfit The Incredible String Band and is also a songwriter, published poet, novelist and author of instructional works for the fiddle and penny whistle.  They perform at the City Varieties Music Hall on Friday April 27th at 8pm.

Audiences can expect an array of instruments being played; guitars, harp, violin and whistles as well as a few tales of the road from Robin!

Tickets are priced at £17.50 and are available from City Varieties Box Office on 0113 243 08 08 or online at cityvarieties.co.uk.
