Christmas baby Roxanne, whose birthday falls on Boxing Day, seems sure to be a big hit with shoppers. 

The actress, who played the part of farmer’s wife Jo Sugden, before leaving the soap last December and taking to the ice, is scheduled to throw the switch for the centre’s Christmas lights at 7pm.  

On what promises to be a sparkling event to mark the start of extended festive season shopping hours at White Rose, the evening will have a glittering finale when the centre stages its spectacular annual fireworks display from 8pm.     

The fireworks can be viewed from car parks 4 and 5.
