Young people looking for something fun, creative and free to do this summer need to know about 'Grand Ambitions'.

The Grand Theatre&City Varieties Music Hall have teamed up with The White Rose Shopping Centre and are inviting youngsters aged 10 – 14 to take part in theatre tours, meet theatre staff,  go behind the scenes at the White Rose and partake in team activities. The four day project will culminate in a challenge to create and promote a theatre and pitch the ideas to the marketing team at the White Rose.

“This is a great chance for youngsters to learn new skills and be put to the test; a bit like The Apprentice - but without Lord Sugar,” says Rachel Moyise, Learning Manager at The Grand Theatre and City Varieties Music Hall. “They get the chance to work alongside professionals, make new friends and importantly have fun!”

Grand Ambitions runs from Monday 13th to Thursday 16th August. Children must be aged 10 – 14 years old.  To be involved or for more information email bethany.beal@leedsgrandtheatre.com.
