Park Square
Park Square is one of the most popular green spaces in the city centre, particularly on warm summer days when it provides a relaxing refuge for city centre workers to enjoy an al fresco lunch.

The Georgian townhouses of Park Square were once home to the city’s wealthy merchants, and it is now a popular office location for the many legal firms in Leeds. A recent refurbishment introduced new railings, lighting and furniture, retaining and enhancing the historical character of this elegant garden square.

On the south side of the square is St Paul’s House. This alone makes Park Square worth a visit. Built in a Moorish–Venetian style in 1878 with chimneys disguised as minarets, this astonishing former factory building was the first in Leeds to produce ready made clothing.
