Commercial property exhibition Unfold, the showcase for Leeds City Region’s current and future locations for investment, relocation and development, will take place for its second consecutive year at Leeds Town Hall, on Thursday 18th October.
Delegates from within the region and nationwide, will attend the property exhibition which will platform the existing and forthcoming developments and opportunities available in the Leeds City Region.
Building upon the success of last year, which showcased 34 of the region’s most prestigious developments and was attended by over 1000 delegates, 2012 will see a comprehensive marketing campaign rolled out to attract over 3,000 delegates nationwide. This year, to accommodate demand, exhibitor space has nearly doubled, additional branding opportunities have been created and there is the opportunity for one exhibitor to take an entire room.
Key speakers will include Tom Riordan, CEO Leeds City Council and Neil McLean, Chair, Leeds City Region LEP, and it is anticipated that a number of high calibre speakers will also be attracted.
Underwritten by the region’s leading ten commercial property agents, Unfold 2012 demonstrates the commitment to a resurgent property market and to Leeds as a prime region for investment. The ten partners include; CBRE, Colliers, Drivers Jonas Deloitte, DTZ, GVA, Jones Lang LaSalle, Knight Frank, Lambert Smith Hampton, Sanderson Weatherall and Savills.
Mark Goldstone, Head of Business Representation and Policy at Leeds, York and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce said: "Leeds is a city that has transformed itself over the last twenty years and is a vibrant 21st century city, with a large, diverse business community. It is home to global organisations across a range of sectors from industrial, to retail, to commercial; making it the perfect place to locate and grow your business.
"Unfold is a fantastic opportunity for Leeds to tell its story to occupiers and investors alike, that this city has to be in your UK growth strategy. With spectacular development opportunities, including an LEP backed Enterprise Zone, strategically placed on the crossroads of the M1 and the M62, high value city centre commercial and retail sites, yards from major public transport hubs and fringe of city opportunities for industrial and office, this will be a unique chance to see them all in one place. The first Unfold was extremely successful and this one looks set to be even better.”
Unfold Leeds will take place on Thursday 18th October at Leeds Town Hall. Further information can be found at www.unfoldleeds.co.uk.
