Summer musical raises £500 for Cancer Research

The Light retail and leisure scheme hosted its annual summer open-air musical at the weekend, helping to raise £500 for Yorkshire Cancer Research.
The musical entitled ‘Everything Under The Sun’ was a modern musical adaptation of Shakespeare’s classic -The Taming of the Shrew. The show was written and produced by English-Rice productions and starred superb regional actors: Aaron Cobham, Cath Rice, Charlie Griffin, James Zaken, Lucy Raften and Paul Sockett.
Despite the initial poor weather 115 tickets were sold, and The Light donated 50% of all sales to Yorkshire Cancer Research.
