Opera North New Head of Corporate Giving
Opera North announces today the arrival of Jacqui Nuttall as the Company’s new Head of Corporate Giving. A professional with over nine years experience in business development, Jacqui has worked for a range of clients in both the public and private sectors, including most recently Financial Leeds.
Hailing originally from New Zealand, Jacqui has worked in high calibre institutions such as the London Stock Exchange, the Financial Times and at the Royal Opera House. She brings a wealth of energy, enthusiasm and contacts to Opera North, with a focus to cultivate business relationships at the highest level on a local and national scale. The Senior Management post is part of a wider Company strategy to strengthen the financial position of Opera North, which includes a heightened focus on website activity, bringing the design and editorial of print and publications in-house and looking at the commercial use of the Howard Assembly Room.
Chris Denton, Commercial Director, Opera North, comments:
“We are thrilled by Jacqui’s arrival and her positive outlook on the current tough economic climate. It is vital that we look to the support of UK businesses to help protect the valuable work that the Company produces and the new Head of Corporate Giving is a significant step towards helping us achieve this.”
“Jacqui is joining at a great time, when we are refocusing and repositioning the Company as a vibrant and vital arts organisation, with a new logo and strengthening of marketing and brand activity. Jacqui's skills and experience will play a vital part in driving our commercial team forward during the challenging months ahead.”
