Leeds Trinity business network autumn programme
10th Oct 2011
A new business network launched in June by Leeds Trinity University College is inviting new and current members to its autumn meetings.
As an informal network with no membership fee, the Leeds Trinity Business Network is an accessible forum for sharing ideas and building contacts within the local business community.
The next meeting, open to business people in Horsforth and surrounding areas, takes place on Thursday 13 October at Leeds Trinity’s Brownberrie Lane campus, starting with a buffet lunch at 12.30pm.
Mark Goldstone, Director of Corporate Affairs at the Leeds, York and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce, will speak on ‘How businesses in Leeds are planning for growth.’ Following the talk there will be an opportunity to network with colleagues and discuss partnership working with Leeds Trinity.
Jess Sewter, Employer Partnership Manager at Leeds Trinity, said, “The feedback from visitors to our inaugural session in June was very positive. As well as linking local business people, they see a role for helping students become part of the local business community through for example employer talks, work placements and graduate recruitment schemes.”
A further lunchtime meeting will take place at Leeds Trinity on 16 November, on the theme of Community Business. A twilight meeting is planned for Thursday 15 December at a social venue in Horsforth.
