The award winning home technology specialists at Finite Solutions are celebrating after being nominated three times for the 2012 CEDIA awards for their high levels of service and commitment to providing state of the art technology for their latest projects in Leeds.

Showcased against international competitors, Finite Solutions is nominated for the 'best home cinema installation under £100k', 'best cinema under £40,000' and 'best smart house under £250,000' after a panel of industry judges have highlighted their projects as market leading and a prime example of best practice that all CEDIA (Custom Electronics Design and Installation Association) members strive for.

The project which earned two of the nominations involved Finite Solutions completely transforming a derelict farm house in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales into a state of the art home of the future. Using a central operating system, all technology within the house from the lights, sound and security could be controlled via an iPhone or iPad, making it easy for the family to enjoy their new home with total automation both at home or away.

A home cinema system was also created in the property with Finite Solutions fitting a hi-tech cinema room and project managing every stage from the initial design and build, to the finishing touches of the upholstery and lighting.

CEDIA noted how the Finite Solutions team used their expertise to ensure the design for the client's new home retained the charm of the old building while creating a high tech home of the future.
