Blue Chip Receives Double Accreditation from EMC
13th Aug 2010
Leeds-based specialist IT firm Blue Chip is one of just four companies in the UK to have achieved both Premier Solutions Provider (PSP) status and Consolidate Speciality status under the Velocity2 Partner Program, run by world leading developer and provider of information infrastructure technology, EMC.
Blue Chip Managing Director, Richard Cook said: “Partnering EMC chimes with our core business growth aims, which have centred on delivering virtualisation and storage technologies over recent years. The combination of Premier Solutions Provider and Speciality status is extremely important, since we are viewed by EMC as ‘trusted advisers’ and specialists of their products. This gives us a clear technological advantage over non-accredited resellers; a critical competitive differentiator for us, and hugely beneficial for our customers.”
EMC has invested in comprehensive support for its partners to create the Velocity2 Partner Program, which includes unprecedented support for resellers at every stage of pre-sales, sales, delivery and implementation. Only twelve companies in the UK are currently accredited as Premier Solutions Providers under the program.
Speciality Partners are able to recommend the correct EMC infrastructure for their customer’s business challenges and implement an entire end-to-end EMC solution combining hardware, software and services skills.
Richard Cook continues: “The Velocity2 Partner Program gives us access to, and pre-launch technical training on all of EMC’s industry leading hardware, software, solutions and services. The result is that we are ahead of the game and fully prepared to sell and deliver solutions applicable to our customer’s needs as soon as they come to market; we can differentiate our offering depending on the customer, and crucially, deliver more value to them.”
