Butler Dirty Beasts
The story of the Dirty Beasts by well-loved children’s author Roald Dahl is illuminated to wicked proportions by Martin Butler’s musical adaptation. The narrator tells the story of the Crocky Wocky Crocodile eating nice little girls, the scheming pig not wishing to become Farmer Bland’s bacon and the Funny Tummy Monster; whilst the musicians (piano and wind quintet) paint a most vivid musical backdrop to the poems. This is a hugely entertaining work that is great fun for all ages and will put you in a good mood for the rest of the day.
