Overview

A grand celebration of light, sound and colour will provide the finale for this year’s musical series. There will be workshops in Indian classical music and dance happening at various points in the park and the day will have two concerts from world class musicians.

Starting at 12pm, Shri Dharambir Singh and Shri Kousic Sen will give a classical Sitar and Tabla recital and from 2.30pm, Pete Lockett a multi percussionist will provide us with whirlwind of world percussion.

Between them all the musicians have performed with the likes of Ustad Zakir Hussain, Björk, the Verve and the Halle Orchestra.

This energy-filled event will be the perfect end to another season at the fantastic YSP.

Workshops from 11am, concerts from 12 - 1.30pm, 2.30 – 4pm.
