With some of the country’s best-supported football, cricket and rugby sides, and plenty of opportunities to get involved yourself, sport in Leeds is as healthy as ever.

The city’s celebrated rugby league side, Leeds Rhinos, is one of the sport’s real heavyweights, and was the best-supported rugby side of either code in the UK in 2007, so it's a good job that Headingley Carnegie Stadium can house 22,250 spectators.
