Opened in 1758, Middleton Railway is the world’s oldest working railway. The line runs into Middleton Park in Leeds at the edge of Yorkshire’s largest ancient forest. Nature trails, picnic facilities and a large collection of railway locomotives can be seen, many of them hundred of years old.
