Overview
The aim of Casa Mia is to bring "a little taste of Italy" to Leeds, which it certainly does with its two restaurants, located on Millennium Square in the city centre and in Chapel Allerton.
Owners Francesco and Marta Mazzella began by opening a cafe, Casa Mia Coffee Shop, in Chapel Allerton in 1998. Such was its popularity that restaurant Casa Mia Grande followed, and later Casa Mia on Millennium Square.
The flagship Casa Mia Millennium in the city centre has a coffee bar, deli and restaurant over two floors. Located in a prime position on the square, it also offers alfresco seating. Casa Mia Grande, in Chapel Allerton, specialises in fish, and also serves traditional meat dishes and fresh pasta.
Winners of 'Best Italian Restaurant' and ‘Best Al-Fresco Dining Area' at Leeds Restaurant Association Awards 2007.
