Overview
This is the area of moorland between Ilkley and Keighley, the highest part of Rombalds Moor. It is perhaps best known as the location for the Yorkshire 'anthem' "On Ilkley Moor bar t'at".
Ilkley Moor is a popular spot for walking, cycling, riding and other outdoor pursuits, and it has several interesting features, including the 'Cow and Calf' rocks, and a number of prehistoric rock carvings.
