If you’re looking for somewhere genuinely amazing to take the kids during the summer, head for Poplars Adventure Mega Maze on the outskirts of Knaresborough. Set in the picturesque village of Ferrensby, Poplars Adventure Mega Maze offers a perfect day out for families with children of all ages. Young children will love exploring the adjoining Play Paddock with trampoline, sandpit, mini assault course, soak-zone and bale maze. Super-charged kids can have a go at bale hurdling while the less energetic can chill out in the back of a tractor-trailer.

There are plenty of picnic facilities and light refreshments are also available.

Charges are £4.50 for adults, £3.50 for children and a family ticket is £14.

Exit the A1 at either junctions 47 or 48 or take the A6055 from Knaresborough.
