Overview
The Ilkley Manor House is a quaint Elizabethan building on the site of a Roman fort. The Manor House is one of the oldest buildings in Ilkley, and is located in a picturesque riverside setting.
Among the galleries is a display that illustrates the history of Ilkley from prehistoric times though to the Victorian era when it was an important Spa resort. Included in the displays are local finds of prehistoric material and some Roman artefacts recovered from the fort.
There are regular free demonstrations and chargeable workshops.
