Overview

Jake's is a warm and welcoming subterranean hideaway, perfect for eating, drinking and generally avoiding the bustle of nearby Call Lane bars. Like its cousin Oporto, Jake's provides a contrast to the multitude of bars churning out house music.

The food, like the decor, is unfussy - burgers, chicken, sandwiches and salads are served in good sized portions. The cocktails are mixed by Jake himself from a range of spirits possibly imported from outer space - there are bottles behind Jake's bar that you won't have seen before, and quite possibly will never see again.
