Overview

Since 2001, the Leeds restaurant scene has blossomed with new, exciting, contemporary and innovative venues such as Chino Latino and Room, each offering a twist on traditional dishes as well as paying homage to the Leeds nightlife scene, with first class cocktail bars and unfussy space in which you can relax.

Anthony's is not of this genre. Although the restaurant's pedigree cannot be questioned - it currently holds The Observer's Best Restaurant award and its chef is formerly of Michelin-starred restaurants - it has an innovative menu that may be inaccessible and daunting to many. For the more adventurous, however, you can certainly expect the best service, an excellent selection of wines and a menu providing an exceptional tasting experience. If you're looking for a first class fine dining experience in the centre of Leeds, Anthony's is one you should try, but bear in mind that mains here are priced around £20, making this one of the most expensive restaurants in the city.
