Overview
The acclaimed chamber choir St Peter’s Singers recently celebrated the thirtieth anniversary of its formation by Harry David Fearnly in 1977.
The choir commemorates another significant milestone this year with its performance of the Watkins Shaw edition of Messiah, first produced exactly fifty years ago.
Dr. Simon Lindley, a close friend and colleague of Bradford-born Dr. Shaw, contributes jubilee reminiscences to a special souvenir programme available on the night of the concert. Soloists are led by brilliant boy soprano William Dutton, whose father Paul is also on the bill joining other soloists Kathryn Woodruff, Quentin Brown, Kristina James and Sally Scott.
