Winner of the 1975 Leeds International Pianoforte Competition, Dmitri Aleexev has built an enviable reputation as one of the world’s most highly regarded artists. In the last concert of the series Alexeev presents work by two of Russia’s greatest composers for the piano, Rachmaninov and Scriabin, with arguably the finest European composer for the instrument, Chopin. A fine way to end the series!
