A product of the Jette Parker Young Artists programme at the Royal Opera House, South African Jacques Imbrailo is fast becoming a favourite of the Covent Garden stage. Schumann’s immortal Dichterliebe (The Poet’s Love) written during 1822 and 1823 comprises sixteen songs to texts from Heinrich Heine’s Lyrisches Intermezzo.
