Overview
Leeds Metropolitan University Students' Union, or Leeds Met Union as it is more often known, provides a whole variety of essential services to students during the day, and hosts a wide selection of music gigs and clubnights at night.
There are sites at the Headingley and Civic campuses, where you can find general shops, first- and second-hand book shops, travel agents, bars and cafes as well as a host of student support organisations including the Student Advice Centre and the JobShop.
Friday nights at the main Union building in town are the biggest alternative & indie student clubnight in Leeds - Star & Electrichead. Featuring indie, new wave, rock, emo, punk and metal spread over two rooms.
