Overview

Square on the Lane lies in close proximity to three of the city’s hotels, is a two-minute stroll from the train station and plays popular pre-club bar to, amongst others, Majestyk and Bondi Beach. The ambience and atmosphere is of a pub, in a space as large as a small club. On the weekends The Square gets very busy with the large central space downstairs packed out, but some relief is found on the upper deck, which is equally spacious with some cosy booths, complete with TVs, mirrors and open seating. A separate dining area caters for lunchtime and evening diners, serving well-priced bar food.
