Overview

The main bar is bright and cheery - a multi-coloured harlequin design decorates the many columns and it’s here you’ll find a stunning metal construction leaping from the bar. It swarms with suits during happy hour and enjoys a strong after-work throng of the same genre. A slouchy sofa dwells by the window, wonderfully positioned for people-watching. Towards the rear of the main bar is an inviting red bay with great proximity to the DJ box should they be playing your tune. The bar’s terrace area off to the right has beautiful wrought-iron chairs and windows that open out to transform it into an outdoor café. The restaurant tucked away on the opposite flank of the building serves classics with a modern twist, and is clean, simple, light and elegant. Similarly stylish is the downstairs lounge area with gentle lighting and big sofas, but turn just one corner from here and it’s as if the leap’s been made from English finesse to Canadian warmth as you enter the Lodge. Living up to its name, there’s a moose head on the wall, candles flickering in recesses in the log-effect walls and Red Indian designs on the chairs. Go further into Tiger Tiger’s depths to discover its giant basement nightclub, complete with dark and cosy corners perfect for smooching. Not to mention a substantial bar and massive floor space perfect for strutting. Membership cards get you into VIP area the Kaz Bar, which is a Marrakech-style cushioned affair with bohemian elegance. Finally, and quite possibly most importantly, the sinks in the toilets are glass tiger paws!
