Event Detail
Festival of Pastimes
Date/time:
10th May 2008
from 12:00pm to 5:00pm
Overview
Do you have a spare-time passion? Do you want to share it with the people of Leeds? Do you want to see and add to an alternative picture of the city?
There is a wealth of activity that characterises the city, including local history groups, amateur sports associations, art and music collectives and tropical fish societies to name but a few.
For a Saturday afternoon, these disparate pursuits, unified by their participants' earnest motivations, will be drawn together in the city centre for the Festival of Pastimes.
Individuals interested in contributing their pastime, or having their group or collective represented, are urged to get in touch (contact details below).
Event to be held on Briggate.
